Turned from solid brass, 7 inches tall, cut for a standard 7/8-inch taper. Most of its weight sits in the foot, so it stays level as the candle burns down and the top goes light.
Turned on a lathe rather than cast, which is why the column carries fine concentric lines rather than a mould seam.
