Blackened steel, 62 inches tall, with two cylindrical heads that pivot independently along a horizontal arm. Each head turns through 90 degrees and holds by friction rather than a knob.
Two heads on one stem cover a reading chair and the table beside it without a second lamp and a second cord. Aim one down and one across and the corner is done.
Nine of its fourteen pounds sit in the base. At this height that is what keeps it from going over when someone walks past the arm.
